poetry
This poem seeks to inspire those who suffer from low self esteem due to the constant inner voice that tells them they aren’t good at anything, due to which they are apprehensive about going out of their comfort zones and taking up challenges. Each person is built with innate capabilities of their own which cannot be compared with anyone else’s capabilities. Those thoughts that you are inferior to others come up when you compare yourself with others. The magic happens when you start comparing yourself with yourself. Each day will see a better you and you start appreciating yourself more than ever!

Those moments, those comments;
that ripped me through my heart,
deep down my throat,
i felt like a mumble;
that broke me into a crumble.
I became, like the sands on the seashore,
each time washed ashore!
Do the sands;
do they even know who they are?
They roll on the tides,
and glide on the rides.
They shine on sunny morns
and glitter on starry nights.
They learn to be strong,
no matter where they belong!
I am less to no one!
I know the paths i have trodden.
I am less to myself;
I have many paths untrodden.
I am the sun and i am the stars.
I light my path, i find my warmth.
i am the sands on the seashore,
that build strong castles on the floor!
